Mechanical Engineering can be defined as â€Å"the discipline that applies the principles of engineering, physics, and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems.†[1 - www.wikipedia.org] This can include a wide variety of tasks ranging from designing a small part in a machine in a production line to smaller devices such as components in a mobile phone.
